この間、リトルインディアに行ってSok Kuanとヨウヘイくんとランチ食べて来たよ。行ったレストランはもちろんKomala Vilas。

あたしはここに来たらいつもオニオンマサラドーサイを食べる。安くて美味しい！日本円で200円くらい。

今日はイスラム教の祝日です。
シンガポールは日本に比べるとお休みが少ないから有意義に過ごそうっと☆

そうです、本日まいちゃんとお隣マレーシアのJBにちょいとお出かけしてきました。

お昼（和食）食べて、ネイルして、シュークリーム（ビアードパパ）食べて、ってしてたらもう夕方前で、じゃあ帰りましょうとさっくり帰ってきました。

全くマレーシアっぽくない！

ネイルは、

まいちゃんはとてもかわいいピンク、

あたしはラメラメフレンチ。

ラメで派手だけど爪の先だけ。

ギンギラギンにさりげなく♪

ってこういうこと？なんて思ったりしました。

おしゃべりたくさんできて楽しかった♡

お土産のお菓子たちはマレーシアっぽいかな？

なんやかんや買いすぎちゃいました。

左下のはピーナッツ入りのおもち、

とってももちもちで美味しかったです。

Happy Halloween.

Had dinner at White Rabbit, all the waiters disguised themselves as mad rabbits. (Sumimasen, no pictures of them...)

Lots of people turned out with funny makeup and costumes, the Halloween party seemed very happening!
It was too crowded for me to stay, I had to leave to protect my little one in my tummy (so I don't have any photos of disguised people, sumimasen...)

Ok I will do something on next Halloween!!

気がついたら、
お腹がこんなに大きくなっていました。。

後期に入ってちょいとスローダウン、毎日眠くて眠くて。。。

東京に住んでた頃よく来たものです。

お店の人が「あ〜ご無沙汰してます〜」って、
最後に来たの７年前とかなんですけど！！

おぼえててくれて嬉しかった♡

ノンアルコールビール飲んでみたり。

スイカについていたと思われるかわいいシール♡
が、おねえの車の中に。
甥っ子の仕業か？

その甥っ子とデラウェア食べて、
皮を新聞の上に載っけて遊んだり。

お隣栃木県足利市の花火大会に来てみたり。
うまい具合に渋滞に巻き込まれて車の中から花火見物。

おいしい卵やさんに卵を買いに来たついでに、
近くの畑でちょいとお散歩。
ってか暑過ぎ！
そそくさと車に戻ったのでした。

とってもうましでした。。

来年ご結婚、おめでとうございます！

お茶っ子

Met up with Sok Kuan for tea on Tuesday.
Came to a cafe called Caramel on Beach Road.

I really love their creme brulee, finished most of it which Sok Kuan ordered and took out another 4 pieces..!
Highly recommend!!

クリームブリュレがとってもおいしくて持ち帰りもしちゃったよ。

Moving house

Moved house from Queenstown, where I lived almost 4 years, to Tiong Bahru about 10 days ago. Unpacking little by little, and waiting for some furniture to arrive.

Animal Farm

I watched a show 'Animal Farm' on Saturday.
The book published in England in 1945, reflects events leading up to and during the Starlin era before World War II.

It is ... brilliant!! The message is very clear and the actors' movements are just awesome... The actors play several kind of animals, they switch to the other as the story goes.
It made me rethink of the history, society and human nature...

動物農場見てきました。
はじめ英語の本トライしたけど英語自体がちょっと古いし、知らない単語がありすぎて挫折。。。
でもストーリーははっきりしてるから、お芝居はとっても楽しめました。

I was thinking of getting a new portable umbrella. So it was a prefect timing when I found this at Kinokuniya :)
Kinokuniya is my oasis, love that place!

Kaico

I have bought a kettle from atomi yesterday.
The brand name is Kaico, means cocoon. As the name shows, the kettle is silk white. When shall I start using this :)

atomi is a shop at Mandarin Gallery, has some Japanese kitchen goods, tableware, comfortable cloths etc.. Check it out!

ナジップさん日本に住んでたこともあって、
変な日本語がたまに出てくる。
おしん、ポケモン、
儲かりまっか、ボチボチでんな、
とか。

最近は草食系男子とか引きこもりとか、
しょうがないまで出てくる。

Cooking class

I visited a Japanese cooking teacher on the other day, watched her cooking and helped her a bit. It was my first experience for attending cooking class, although it wasn't exactly a cooking class :) I chatted with other ladies and had a wonderful lunch!


Rice with Sakura and fried been curd.
桜の塩漬けと油揚げの炊き込みご飯。
ふんわり桜の香りがしておいしかった〜。

Stir-fried chicken and garlic.
鶏とにんにくの炒め煮。

Marinated eggplants.
なすのマリネ。

Grilled tofu and mushroom with herb.
オトーフときのこのハーブ焼。

Green tea Bavarian cream.
抹茶のババロア。


日本にいるときから３０年以上お料理教室をなさっている先生と知り合いになって、来て来て〜とのお誘いを受け、お邪魔してきました。

みしまさん、どれもとてもおいしかったです！
